J. E. (Rick) Martin, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S. | |

A native Texan, Dr. Martin graduated with an M.D.
from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in
1976 where he earned the Robert J. Salem Senior
Medical Student Award for Excellence in Surgery.
Dr. Martin entered private practice in 1987 in Texas,
where he served as Chief of Surgery until he moved
to Las Vegas. A CSSN team member since 1995,
Dr. Martin's specialty is heart valve replacement and
repair and minimally invasive vascular and cardiac
surgical procedures. Dr. Martin is the Chairman of the
Department of Surgery at Desert Springs Hospital.
